Greeting from Pace University President Marvin Krislov
Biography:
Justice Clarke was recently appointed Acting Justice, NYS Supreme Court, 2nd Department (Brooklyn). Prior to her election as a judge for the New York City Civil Court in New York in November 2014, Clarke worked as the founder and CEO of Central Brooklyn Legal Services Corp. She has previously worked at the Legal Aid Society's Criminal Division in Queens, New York. She served as counsel to New York City's Office of Corporation Counsel, and as deputy general counsel at the New York State Division of Human Rights.
Clarke has a bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College, a master's degree in public policy and administration from Harvard University, and a J.D. from City University of New York Law School.
Dana Burr, Associate Director of Employer Relations, has worked at Pace University since 2016. He has held various positions within the University, but in his current role in Career Services, he provides leadership and oversight to the office as it relates to external campus relationships—specifically in Westchester County and surrounding areas. Aside from being one of the team’s primary contacts to the University’s employer partners, he considers it to be an absolute privilege to help Pace students realize their fullest potential every day by connecting them with employment opportunities, internships, and alumni that are beneficial to their personal and professional development.
Before working in higher education, Dana developed and marketed professional development events at the New York County Lawyers’ Association, and assisted its Board of Directors and Executive team with achieving their business development goals. Previously, he worked for several years in the corporate sector tracking liquidity in the real estate industry at Reis, Inc. (now part of Moody’s Analytics).
Dana received his Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from The City College of New York, and holds a Master of Public Administration degree in nonprofit management from Pace University.
Mr. Massiah is a long-standing member of ASPA, and has served on the chapter/advisory boards for the New York Metropolitan Chapter of ASPA and the Conference of Minority Public Administrators (COMPA). He recently retired from the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANY & NJ), where he served as Budget Director; Human Resources Director, and Chief Human Capital Officer for this bi-state government corporation. In the latter roles, he made significant strides at the PANY & NJ in diversity, succession planning and equal employment opportunity. Mike is currently an adjunct professor at both Baruch College and John Jay College of CUNY. He is also an elected member of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA).
Mr. Russo is a graduate of Brooklyn College (CUNY) and Brooklyn Law School. He has been active in the governmental, not-for-profit, higher education and now private sector as a partner in the NYC law firm of Windels and Marx. He is also currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Administration at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY where he teaches courses in: Human Resource Administration; Oversight and Inspection; Legal Environment of Public Administration. He has demonstrated excellence in government service with the State and City of New York. His private law practice focuses on: transportation; public policy; human rights; administrative law, and procurement.
Professor Jarvis is a graduate of Stanford University and the Yale Law School. She has been teaching at Baruch College for nearly 20 years. Her current academic appointment is Director of the Center on Equality, Pluralism and Policy. Her specialty areas of teaching include: not-for-profit management, civil rights, civil liberties, minority business enterprise, procurement, etc.
She recently published a book on voter suppression.
Gina Scutelnicu Todoran is an associate professor in the Department of Public Administration at Pace University, New York. She has a Ph.D. degree in Public Affairs from Florida International University, a MA in Public Service Management and a BA in Public Administration from Babes-Bolyai University, Romania. Her research interests focus on two main areas: 1) social equity with an emphasis on gender equity in academia, and 2) collaborative governance with a focus on specialized entities of government. Her work has been published in influential peer-reviewed journals among which are the Journal of Public Affairs Education, Journal of Public Management and Social Policy, Public Integrity, Public Administration Quarterly, and Public Administration Review.
Dr. Scutelnicu Todoran has a strong commitment to professional excellence. She has been an active ASPA member since 2009 and served the organization’s sections and chapters in various roles for the past 14 years. Namely, she was the President of the ASPA NY-Metropolitan Chapter, the chair of the Section for Professional and Organizational Development and served on the executive boards of the Section for Women in Public Administration and the Conference of Minority Public Administrators.Currently, she is the President-Elect of the Northeastern Conference on Public Administration. Due to her distinguished record of service, she received the 2022 Donald C. Stone Service to ASPA Award for exceptional and sustained contributions to the society, and the 2022 Pace University Center for Community Action and Research Jefferson Award for Public Service.

Mr. Nixon is currently employed as Assistant District Manager to Manhattan Community Board 11, with 5+ years of exp in NYC public admin. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; attended SUNY at Albany for undergraduate studies in Philosophy; on track to complete graduate studies in Public Administration with Pace University. Aiming to excel and serve constituencies well during career within the public sector and beyond. Hobbies include gaming, investing, martial arts, traveling, outdoor activities, and enjoying life in general. He is on the Government track in the Pace MPA program.
